Trust the Balance
Channeling our second 🌼 essence with Samantha of The Spiral Path
After calling in our first collaborative flower essence this past spring with the incredible Samantha Boersma of The Spiral Path, I felt that it was time once again to consult the fairies. The medicine the flowers had for us in the spring was potent, and I heard from so many of you stories of beautiful integration that were received from that blend.
This time around, I invited you all to participate in our channeling so that we may attract the energies needed collectively in our community, so on Tuesday night, Samantha and I held space to birth a new essence. Even if you weren’t there physically, your energy as a part of the On Holiday community was present.
Right before hopping into our session, I felt a deep urge to put on music and dance. I haven’t danced in a long, long time. And for the past few weeks, I’ve been listening almost exclusively to a blend of house music and a throwback playlist I made of all of the songs I loved when I was 11. It’s upbeat. It’s fun music. It feels a little at opposition with the everything that is happening collectively at the moment. But as the Backstreet Boys filled my kitchen at full volume (I’m a v. proud 90’s kid), I felt joy course through my body in a way that felt wild and childlike. I felt free, and I allowed this joy to fill me up.
There is so much grief and anticipation in the air lately. So much is shifting on the planet. The portal is wild and she is clearly fully dilated. Dancing chaotically felt like a response to all of this. Yes, it was a bit foreign in my body—the joy, the movement, but simultaneously it felt familiar and right. This is a homecoming—an attempt to harness the duality of these times and to clap back with even just a little childish joy.
Just in case you’re looking for this playlist I seem to be referencing more days than not, it’s HERE.
This is a shortened version of our session, for privacy I did not include our participant’s shares.
I led our circle through a grounding inner child meditation so that we may retrieve some insights from the purest parts of self, and we shared what we are calling in and leaving behind. Samantha expressed how excited the flowers were to come forward, all of them hoping to fill a space in this essence for us. In the end, what developed was a beautiful ally to help us work in this space of the in-between—that sticky area between grief and joy, the transitional space between singularity to collective care. This essence is here to help us rediscover ourselves in this new time, holding our hand as we step into collective abundance and community while simultaneously shedding the old forms of being.
As Samantha channeled, “we are being asked to become sovereign in the ways you can so that you can play your vital role in the larger community. Your creations and contributions are important. During challenging times, this essence can support in encouraging you to bring in the balancing energies that are needed.”
🪷The flower allies🪷
Goldenrod is a potent ally for helping you remain true to who you are as a larger part of community, while chickweed shows you how you are meant to shine, like a star in a constellation, to contribute to something bigger than you, reminding you of your belongingness.
The essence of Calendula works with your ability to receive, helping to soothe and open your heart space and expand your capacity to hold what is given to you.
Anemone brings forward the energy of the wind, teaching you to remain flexible to change. It brings a lightness of being, encouraging you to remain connected to the magic and love present all around you, and let go of any fear of the day you'll be without it.
I am beyond excited about this medicine and to offer it to all of my On Holiday community. I hope that it holds you in this time and space in joy and love.
✨For every essence purchased this month, Samantha will be donating an 1,000 Tiny Lanterns essence to those affected by Hurricane Helene.
