A note from the fairy realm

in conversation [and flower essence channeling] with Samantha Boersma, creator of The Spiral Path

Gosh. There is so much I want to say about this conversation and collaboration, but I am having such a hard time choosing where to begin. It’s all so delicious!

I first met Samantha and her work a few months ago through my friend, Saga Blane who I featured here a few weeks ago. She was taking one of Samantha’s essences at the time called “Divine Mirror”. Something about the essence called deeply to me and I ordered my own bottle a few days later. Our conversation below dives into the science of flower essences, but TLDR, I drank this essence up. I felt this essence vibrating through me, and I came out on the other side ready to tackle the first few months of 2024 allied by these plants. I booked a consultation with Samantha shortly thereafter and we had a powerful call that led us to a custom blend I am currently finishing up.

I love the medicine of flower essences for many reasons, and over the past several years, I have relied on many, keeping them on hand especially for panicky thoughts and/or anxiety attacks. I have found that they really hold a special magic in them that speaks to and soothes my soul. But, I’d have to say my favorite part of flower essences is their connection to the fairy realm. Flower esences are the whispers of wisdom that exist within the plant world—a subtle magical language that the flowers and roots and mushrooms have to share with us, and you have to get quiet to hear them. Just like fairies, they speak to each of us from a glimmery realm, healing parts of us that need love and support.
