A late autumn guide to the Catskills

Things to do in the surrounding area of Leeds, NY

You might recall that a few weeks ago I spent a week at Camptown in Leeds NY. Because I am me, I did a lot of exploring and have put together a little guide. Dan and I have fallen in love with this part of the Catskills/Hudson Valley and have made several trips to explore towns like Woodstock, Catskill, and Hudson more than once. An important note when visiting this region is that most everything is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, even including the Camptown property restaurant Casa Susanna. Despite our visit falling over this time frame, we still found plenty to fill our days. The Catskills invite me to take life slower and really savor the activity at hand. We ate plenty of delicious meals, explored a hike or two, and found cute shops to browse. Below is all of what we did, plus a few extra notes of things I will do upon our return.
